Things are just fine, we came to a funny physics lab with me new flatmate,
he's a real science kinda guy sometimes, they have new lasers here to
study photosynthesis and other extremely interesting bio-stuff. We came to
take the soft stuff where the huge lasers were in to use as mattresses and
pillows in our new apartment ;)
The Finns I was chatting with sure made the Finnish summer sound beautiful
and make me miss home again. Amsterdam has been great, though, warm nice
weather for change and dancing outdoors, there was this Move Your World!
-festival thing where they had Internet related stuff too, like
teleconferencing to South Africa and Moscow etc.
This one guy Benoit I met here some time ago told some nice things about
Geneva, he's from somewhere there. I'll guess some of us try to come there
afterall, me for sure, but hopefully other people too. The rest will be on
the net from home, hopefully from nature, this one guy I was talking with
today is in London (or Kingston) at the moment coding for the
learningworld.org but will be back home in Finland for summer living on
this small island just outside Oulu and they have a connection there.
I just need to get to go to Finland at some point to charge my batteries
and get rid of this home sickness, then arrange some money for the
expensive Switzerland (I guess sponsors shouldn't be too hard to find?)
and head there then .. the jazz festival Mark (Selby, I mean) was talking
about sounded good :)
