Hi, Toni. (Hi, Don -- we met at the GII Awards in New York last year... I
was doing some consulting for Jim Hake, and I used to direct the TIIAP
grant program at Commerce.)

I haven't read Don's book yet, but I wanted to say that it's likely that
many in the audience at INET98 will not have read it either. So, Toni,
your perspective on YOUR experience, along with comments about what
resonated for you in Don's book, will be very appropriate for the
presentation. In addition, you will share the session with at least one
other "youth" oriented presenter. Right now we expect that to be someone
from a Soros Foundation-supported program for talented youth in Siberia.
We are trying to put together several events that will include or focus on
younger users of the Interet.

I would not worry that someone else has written a book: in the end, we
will want to hear what YOU have to say and you will be unique in terms of
this conference.

Laura

PS We're not flooded at my apartment, but the streets were flooded nearby
and the computer center where I volunteer had more than a foot of water in
it. We are expecting more rain this weekend!
