Toni,

I'm so sorry to hear you were robbed. That has happened to me and it is
very frightening. Are you OK?? I haven't been to Rotterdam so I have no
impressions of the city. Is it very dangerous?

As far as your presentation goes, I would be happy to look at it, or at an
outline. My general advice is to talk about what is most interesting to
you -- even if it it doesn't "make sense" or seem to fit together at first.
What we want in your presentation is to get to know your thoughts and
impressions. It is not an academic kind of talk!

I would add in anything from the Tapscott book (or TV or the movies or any
other source!) that seems to be true to you.

Remember also that your perspective about whether the Internet is "too
American" or "imperialistic" would be interesting to the audience. Do you
communicate mostly in English or Finnish on the net? Do your
communications vary depending on what language you use? Do you think the
Internet is really international, in spite of the fact that some character
sets are not easily represented or are not "searchable" using Web tools?
Are these questions even interesting to you, or is it just we "older"
people who are thinking about this?

Again, I hope you are recovering from your robbery.

Laura
