i am, as you may recall, the finn you saw performing at the inet youth
thingie.
your article on nettime-l was a pleasure to see. i've been quite involved
with the list last spring myself as we were planning the finnish national
list with Geert and others in Amsterdam where i used to live.
did you write for the list or was the article published elsewhere?
hm. well, anyway, i just told about it to the other participant and i'm
sure they are happy to see it. initially i was gonna reply straight away
back last week but was so confused with work and other coming-back-home
stuff that has been going on .. i'm here @netppl.fi Oulu right now trying
to settle home after three years of living elsewhere.
and yes, i'm afraid of starting to have the same problem than most people
up here: not really caring about the world outside. like following the
international media or participating in discussions out there ..
like Vint Cerf was quoted saying: "the finns are too busy doing the stuff
to tell anyone about it".
